This is a superhero kids theme behaviour clip chart system for elementary classrooms. These are great for setting expectations with students and help to motivate them to improve their behaviour along with positive incentives and rewards. This set can be used to supplement any behaviour modification approach and also adds colour and pizzazz to any elementary classroom. To use this resource all you do is print and laminate each page. You will need one clothespin for each student which can be moved up and down depending on individual student’s behaviour.
This Behavior Chart system displays the following behavior messages:
Pink --> Outstanding
Purple -->Great Choices
Blue --> Good Choices
Green --> Respectful, Responsible, Read to Learn
Yellow --> Caution
Orange --> Stop and Think
Red --> Improvement Needed
Just like adults, children also have rights and certain responsibilities that come with them. These printables highlight 12 of the rights and responsibilities explained in the UN Charter. I created these posters with kid-friendly graphics and simple sentences to make a clear distinction between both terms. There are 12 Rights and Responsibilities that come in black and white and color. These posters work well as notebook pages or anchor charts for social studies or character education lessons. I included mini version for you to use as reading cards also. This set works well with Children’s Day which is recognised on various days in many places around the world, with Universal Children’s day celebrations or it can be used all year round to enhance social skills.
Goal Setting
Students are encouraged to write goals by creating S.M.A.R.T. goals. As they do so it is helpful for them to have a visual aid to help them think along the lines of creating sound goals. These posters are a great classroom display for them to refer to whether setting goals for a day, a week, a month or a year.
Included are three (3) classroom general posters:- one with a boy playing soccer, one with a girl playing soccer and one with a simple breakdown of the S.M.A.R.T. goals.
This is an excellent resource that is useful for covering the topic family tree with your students. There are apple cards depicting multicultural families that your students can have fun with while learning the basic and modern structure of a family. The apple tree mat can be used to build the family unit on and can be placed in a folder in plastic sleeves or laminated for longevity.
The multicultural apple family cards include - African-American, Caucasian (Brunette, Blonde, Red), Latino and Asian. Simply print the cards, laminate and cut the cards apart. Your students will build families with any combination of cards as they wish. The parent and big teen cards can be used to represent other members of the modern family.
Also included are vocabulary cards with a header depicting family words that are bordered in blue, red and black to sort according to gender: male, female and gender neutral words. A colored and black ‘n white “My Family Tree” worksheet is included for students to complete about their own family as well. The multicultural family unit is available as a blank version, for your children to colour in and the apple tree mat is included as a low ink alternative.

Classroom Rules. It is always a good idea to set your class on the right path from day one. It is also a good idea to create the rules with your students. However, I want to share some baseline rules that I believe can transcend any classroom simply because they collectively spell out most of what teachers would want for their classrooms. The following rules are contained in this set:-
We enter our classroom quietly and all lined up.
We leave our classroom quietly and all lined up.
We listen when others are talking, especially our teacher.
We look carefully and follow the directions of our teacher.
We use a quiet voice and tone. We only speak louder when presenting.
We are kind and respectful to our teachers and to each other.
We help keep our classroom clean and tidy at all times..
We always keep our hands and feet to ourselves.
We raise our hands when we have a question or when we need help.
We share with our friends when they are in need.
We work quietly at our desks and do not disturb our neighbors.
We walk carefully in the classroom and hallway.
We always greet our visitors with a smile when they enter our classroom.
I am pretty sure that they cover a wide area. However, if you are in need of additions to this set, let me know through the question and answer tab below..

Feelings: We have many feelings in common, some are good and some are bad. However, the difference lies in what we do with them. We must teach our kids to accept those feelings and to learn how to manage them well. We need to tell our kids that these feelings are shared and also that we must devise reasonable ways to cope with them.
In this poster set there are 12 colored Feelings posters and 12 black and white posters all sized 8.5 x 11 for elementary classrooms. That is a total of 24 posters. These posters show kids who share common feelings and emotions using various facial expressions and body positioning. They are aptly named :-
-Angry Ana
-Confused Connie
-Content Contessa
-Embarrassed Emma
-Excited Exodus
-Proud Preston
-Shy Shane
-Happy Harry
-Sad Sam
-Scared Scout
-Shocked Sheldon
-Worried Wilma
In this set you also get 12 Feeling Shuffle Cards that stimulate small group discussions. I also created a mini book that goes along with the characters entitled ‘My Feelings Matter’ This is a great chance to get your kids writing about feelings they share with the poster characters. You may choose to guide them with this activity to get the best results.
